Energy Leadership Index (ELI) Assessment

We all lead, be it by choice or by default: at work, at home, at church, in various social, professional or family roles. How we show up and how others perceive us may make a world of difference when it comes to the result of our leadership.

Consider the idea that there are different ways to react to any situation. Imagine, someone cuts the line in front of you at the cash register. Do you stay quiet contemplating that, given your luck, that’s what you always get, or may be you say something? Would you get angry, or stay calm, or may be show concern for that person? Would you take the situation personally, consider it a sign, or even find some purpose or opportunity in the situation? Would your reaction be the same on a regular vs. stressful day?  These patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving in different situations are unique to every person. Therefore, no pattern is good or bad, and ELI is a powerful tool, specifically designed to quantitatively represent your typical patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior at a given point in life.

The assessment has been developed by Bruce D. Schneider, the founder of the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). It is based on on 7 “levels of energy” as depicted in the Energetic Self-Perception Chart. The assessment results shows how much of your thoughts and reactions, both in normal circumstances and under stress, fall under each of these levels: Level 1 (victim thinking), Level 2 (conflict), Level 3 (responsibility), Level 4 (caring), Level 5 (opportunity), Level 6 (synthesis), and Level 7 (Truth and absolute).

ELI is an attitudinal assessment, which means that it gives you a snapshot of your current self. And because your energetic makeup is not set in stone, it’s up to you to determine how you want to show up, and what you may want to change.

As a part of the ELI assessment package you receive the Debrief Session from me, a certified ELI Master Practitioner (which means I am qualified by iPEC to interpret your results). During this session I help you understand your energetic makeup, answer any questions you may have, and devise a strategy for change. This session is powerful on it’s own, or can serve as a solid foundation for transforming your life and leadership within a coaching setting.

What to expect: Once you sign-up for the pre-assessment introductory meeting, we’ll have a brief introductory chat, then within 24 hours you will receive a link to a questionnaire, which takes about 20 minutes to complete. Within 48 hours you will receive report with results and a link to the online calendar to schedule your ELI debrief. The debrief takes about 1.5 hours. The 10-page report contains your energetic profile along with the brief explanation of the seven energy levels.

You can book the ELI assessment (debrief session included) separately or as an add-on to any coaching package. If you decide to continue your coaching journey with me after the debrief session, your coaching fee will be adjusted to reflect the discount for the add-on ELI.
